At the stroke of midnight on 31st December, people throughout the world celebrate the dawning of a New Year. Prior to this big event, parties are planned, outfits are selected and champagne is placed on ice. The ‘big’ night has finally arrived. A level of anticipation, excitement and optimism fills the air, as party goers brace themselves for an evening of celebration.
Just with NYE, Accountants (or numbers people) can get a tad too excited around 30th June. It’s their ‘special’ day, one which they look forward to each year. Celebrations may not involve fireworks or flowing champagne, they may not even require hot canapes or invites. However, this sacred time should be embraced by all – just as Accountants (and numbers people) do each year.
So now we’ve put away the streamers and cleaned up the kitchen – it’s time to get focused on ‘Making Your Numbers Count’.
